[...] I’d urge everyone to check out my dad’s new blog, Lee Harps, to see some more of his lovely harps and his meticulously detailed, step by step processes in making and repairing harps. My dad’s work is truly amazing. He still holds down a “real job” and builds these masterpieces in his spare time, but he can hardly be called amatuer. And he doesn’t just build instruments. He plays them too. Lee is also a member of Still Simple Gifts, a group with a “unique musical repertoire drawing on sounds from around the world, past and present.” You can listen to samples and order their latest CD, Patchwork, can be purchased online.
